Here are the winners of the Nachtschatten BDSM/Fetish Film Festival!
Audience Choice Award:
Winner: “The Gimp” by Léa Georges, Adèle Raigneau and Zoé Sottiaux for showing us that it’s not always the length that counts!
Honorable mention: “Le Clitoris” by Lori Malépart-Traversy for giving us a backstory on a fascinating but unjustly underrated organ.
Best Feature Film Award:
Winner: “Boys For Sale” by Itako for giving us insight into a world of sexworkers that share their experiences and dreams with us.
Honorable mention: “Ex-Dominatrix” by Darren Cavanagh for showing us how much BDSM is still misjudged and condemned and how important it is to stand up for it!
Best Documentary Film Award:
Winner: “Sixty-nine Club” by Rob Eagle for reminding us of the pioneers of the European gay and BDSM society.
Honorable mention: “Vanilla Whip” by Bogna Kowalczyk for showing us a visually compelling insight into the BDSM scene in Poland.
Best Short Film Award:
Winner: “The Wrong End of the Stick” by Terri Matthews for showing us that it is worth following our dreams and desires.
Honorable mention: “Growing Pains” by Tor Lubich Fruergaard for reminding us that puberty can be a tough time.
DELIGHTFUL MISCHIEF Special Award:
Winner: “Eclair” by Hugo Keijzer for tackling a sensitive topic in a serious but still lighthearted way.
