“This Love is on Fire” is a music video directed by Cassils in collaboration with queer rock band You Can Call Me Sir. Former dominatrix, Sir, provides vocals, guitar, bass, beats. Matt Petty contributes his experimental trombone and unique verbiage. These two artists make digital music that draws from their lived queer experiences surviving as queers in the haunted swamplands of the American South. This video pays homage to the intergenerational power of female sexuality and features performances from Mary Typhus, SIR and the legendary Mistress Rose. Through pleasure and pain there is only one way out.
